all green everything smoothie

I do love my power oatmeal in the morning but once in a while I opt for a smoothie for breakfast to change things up. This smoothie was fun to create because I tried to include as many green fruits & veggies as possible. The chia seeds pack an energy punch to help you feel energized. This recipe makes 2 small servings or 1 large serving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 of a cucumber sliced
  • 1/2 kiwi
  • 1/2 green apple sliced
  • 1/2 banana 
  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of organic maple syrup to sweeten (optional)

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together. Add water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
