black bean brownies

We all know black beans are delicious - but who knew they also made wonderful brownies! This is an easy recipe that is always a hit at parties. Disclaimer: you may eat the entire pan, but guilt-free ;)

This recipe makes 6 brownies.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can black beans
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 ripe banana
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend all ingredients.

Pour mix into a small pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20 minutes or until you can put a fork through the brownies and it comes out clean.

Let the brownies cool and harden for 15 mins.

Slice and enjoy!
