This is such a yummy party snack or dinner side dish. The brussels sprout chips are crispy and delicious and the guacamole is the perfect pairing of flavours.

This dish serves two or three snacky friends, although I could probably eat it all to myself!

Brussels sprout chips ingredients:

  • 10-15 brussels sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Dash of salt and pepper to taste
  • Chili flakes to taste

Brussels sprout chips directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, line a pan with parchment paper.

Cut each brussels sprout in half, then the halves in half one more time (4 chips per brussels sprout.) Some of them will fall apart a bit and that's okay, they don't need to be perfect!

Spread the brussels sprouts across the pan and drizzle three tablespoons of olive oil across them.

Sprinkle about a 1/2 a teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and 1/2  teaspoon of chilli flakes on the sprouts.

Cook for 20 minutes, or until they're at the perfect crispiness for you.

Guacamole ingredients:

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon (juice from about 1/2 lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • Dash of salt and pepper to taste

Guacamole directions:

Blend and eat!
