this granola loves granola

A lot of store bought granola is packed with sugar, but making your own and having it ready in the fridge can be a healthy snack option in moderation. This granola will be good in the fridge for about two weeks, and makes about 6 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of flat oats
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup almonds diced
  • 1/4 cup of walnuts
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup of organic maple syrup

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together, the oats should be sticky.

Spread evenly on a pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 or until golden brown and crispy.

I like to eat granola with nut milk for breakfast, sprinkle it on my oatmeal or enjoy with fruit.
