healthy heart peanut butter cookies
Breakfast cookies!? Yes please. These cookies have no refined sugar and they're very yummy. You can make them into whatever shape you want...I chose hearts. This recipe makes about 6 cookies.
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 teaspoon of organic vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of hemp hearts
- 1 cup of dates, soaked in water for 20 minutes
- 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Drain the dates and blend them until they're a paste.
In a bowl, mash together the dates, oats, banana, vanilla, peanut butter, cinnamon and hemp hearts until the mixture is gooey.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper or brush with coconut oil.
Shape mix into 6 medium sized cookies and place them on the pan.
Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden.
Serve warm or store in the fridge for up to a week!
