4 ingredient flatbread

How often do you come home from work and wish you could just have a pizza without the hassle of buying or making a complicated dough? For the self proclaimed pizza lover (me), it's ALL the time. Chickpea flour is here to save the day. This recipe makes one flatbread that is sharable.


  • 1 and 1/2 cups of chickpea flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin (optional)


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix chickpea flour, water, olive oil, salt and cumin.

Line a pan with parchment paper and pour mixture spread across the pan.

The consistency should be like a thick pudding, it won't be as thick as conventional dough.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and add toppings, put back in the oven for 5 minutes or until flatbread turns golden brown and can be lifted off the pan.

Add whatever toppings you like! I like to make a dairy free pizza but I add half with cheese if I'm sharing with my partner. Get creative!
